WWSD?

Remember when it was all the rage a few years back to have "WWJD" on bracelets, Tshirts, etc? I thought it was great at the time, for people to be asking themselves, "What would Jesus do?" on a regular basis and the slogan was a great reminder to do that.

Well, my friend, Erin, and I have a new slogan: "WWSD?" also known as "What Would Suze Do?" Yes, I'm referring to Suze Orman, the financial expert who has no problem telling people they have NO BUSINESS spending money and buying things when they should be digging their way out of debt. I know if I EVER called Suze, she would probably tell me I should be eating nothing but Ramen noodles for the next 10 years, based on my financial situation. So when I have the urge to spend money I don't really have, wouldn't it be nice if Suze were right there to set me straight?

Enter....my new wallet decoration:
I actually really wanted a shot of her yelling, not smiling. I thought that would be more effective in reminding me that I really shouldn't be spending any unnecessary money at this point. But I figured this would work. Funny thing is, I bought this awesome red wallet at Target about 6 months ago and at the time, I was thinking about how Suze would NOT approve of me spending the $14 on it. Well, hopefully her smiling face and wagging finger will help me do better in the future.

Maybe my big get-rich scheme should be selling these. What do you think?

Haha, that's so funny! I definitely need a Suze Orman or Dave Ramsey sitting on my shoulder when I shop!

What a great idea! Does it work though? I used to freeze my Visa card in a cup of water. That was dumb. One minute in the microwave was all it took to be on whatever shopping spree I had in mind.
